Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya’s love and patriotic entertainer Thandel is shattering records one after the other and the movie directed by Chandoo Mondeti is raking moolah at the box office. Interestingly, the movie is seeing upward trend, with day three collections are bigger than first day and second day.
The movie minted 21.17 Cr gross on its third day, taking the three days total to 62.37 Cr, making it the highest opening-weekend collection for Naga Chaitanya. This phenomenal performance of Thandel is noteworthy because it is a record for tier-2 heroes.
The film has been consistently earning close to 20 crore per day, even though February is typically a slower month for movie releases. The movie, which co-stars Sai Pallavi, has already recouped major investment. While the movie already reached break even mark in few areas, it is expected to cross the mark soon in rest of the territories.
Given these impressive numbers, Thandel is well on its way to becoming a huge blockbuster, with distributors in all regions set to benefit from the film's success. Presented by Allu Aravind, and produced by Bunny Vasu on Geetha Arts, Thandel is set to be Naga Chaitanya's highest-grossing film.
