Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and visionary director Mani Ratnam’s most-awaited pan-India film Thug Life is gearing up for release with a massive star cast. The team initially planned a grand audio launch event on May 16, ahead of the movie's release on June 5.
However, due to the current situation at the nation’s borders, the team has decided to postpone the event. Kamal Haasan released a statement saying, "Art can wait – India comes first."
He stated:
"In view of the developments at our nation's borders and the current tense situation, we have decided to postpone the audio launch event of 'Thug Life', which was scheduled for May 16."
"At a time when our soldiers are courageously standing at the frontlines to protect our nation, we believe this is not the right moment for celebration. We believe this is a time for solidarity. We will announce a new date for the event at an appropriate time soon."
"At this moment, we must think about our soldiers who are vigilantly safeguarding our country. As citizens, we must respond with restraint and unity," Kamal Haasan expressed.
