Chennai lit up with music and celebration as ‘Jinguchaa’, the first single from Kamal Haasan starring Thug Life—the upcoming film directed by legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam—was launched at Kalaivanar Arangam. Unveiled by cinematic icons Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, and A.R. Rahman, with stalwarts Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Joju George, and Ashok Selvan in attendance, the event marked the beginning of a bold new chapter in Indian cinema.

Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, R. Mahendran, Madras Talkies, and Siva Ananth, Thug Life brings together one of the most ambitious ensembles in recent times—both on screen and behind the scenes.

Set against the backdrop of a pulsating wedding celebration, ‘Jinguchaa’ features Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR dancing to a track that is quintessential Rahman—where earthy folk rhythms meet contemporary flair. With lyrics penned by Kamal Haasan, the song carries a playful charm and spirited energy, offering a vibrant first look into the layered world of Thug Life.

The audio rights for Thug Life have been acquired by Saregama, and the official OTT streaming partner is Netflix.

With these strategic distribution partners aligned, the producers are gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on June 5, 2025—a cinematic event that audiences across generations and geographies have been waiting for.

The Thug Life team also announced the Thug Life Festival, in collaboration with Just Grow Productions, to be held in Sydney, Australia on Friday, May 23rd, where A.R. Rahman will be performing.

కమల్ హాసన్ నటించిన థగ్ లైఫ్ నుంచి మొదటి సింగిల్ ‘జింగుచా’ను గ్రాండ్‌గా రిలీజ్ చేశారు. లెజెండరీ దర్శకుడు మణిరత్నం తెరకెక్కిస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రంలో కమల్ హాసన్, శింబు, త్రిష వంటి వారు ముఖ్య పాత్రలను పోషిస్తున్నారు. ఫస్ట్ సింగిల్ లాంచ్ కోసం నిర్వహించిన ఈవెంట్‌తో దేశం మొత్తం థగ్ లైఫ్ వైపు చూసింది. ఈ వేడుకల్లో కమల్ హాసన్, మణిరత్నం, ఎ.ఆర్. రెహమాన్ సందడి చేశారు.
