Hyderabad
The filming of Tillu Square, sequel to the seminal DJ Tillu, frontlined by Siddhu Jonnalagadda, is in the final leg. After filming for nearly a week last month in Hyderabad, the film’s unit is now gearing up to touch the finish line with what is the last schedule of the film.
A source close to the unit tells us, “The final major schedule of the film will kick-start in Hyderabad on October 16. It will go on for five-six days. Talkie portions and one-and-a-half songs are planned to be completed in this leg, leaving the unit to shoot only the climax part. The unit hasn’t firmed up plans on whether to shoot the climax in the country or go abroad, yet. It will be decided shortly. If they do come to a decision, it will most probably be shot for a couple of days in the first week of November, calling it curtains down for the entire shoot.”
Filmmaker Mallik Ram, who earlier directed Adbutham, Pelli Gola (web series) and Naruda Donaruda, has slid behind the camera to direct Tillu Square, which is an anticipated project. Speaking about it, he had told us last year, “It will be a laugh riot with more chaos this time around. You’ll find Tillu more endearing and you’ll fall in love with him again.”
Anupama Parameswaran is cast opposite Siddhu in Tillu Square, whose release date is yet to be fixed by the makers.
