Anupama Parameswaran, who is fresh off the success of Karthikeya 2, is no longer the female face of Siddhu Jonnalagadda-fronted Tillu Square. While reasons regarding her departure are unknown, her place has been taken by Premam girl Madonna Sebastian, who was last seen as a no-nonsense lawyer in Shyam Singha Roy, winning praise for her turn. This will be the first time she will be seen opposite Siddhu. It is believed she has already joined the sets with the ongoing schedule in Hyderabad.

Tillu Square is helmed by Mallik Ram, whose credits include Adbutham, Pelli Gola (web series) and Naruda Donaruda. Speaking to us in July about Tillu Square, he said the world of Tillu will remain the same but the story will not be a continuation of sorts. “Part 2 will, however, have the traces of the earlier part and will be a black comedy. With DJ Tillu, the makers felt there were a few places where the energy dipped a bit. We didn’t want to repeat that, so we worked a lot on the second half and came up with some interesting plot points. It’s a wacky idea, which is rooted and at the same time thoroughly entertaining. It will be a laugh riot with more chaos this time around. You’ll find Tillu more endearing and you’ll fall in love with him again,” he had said.
