The theatrical trailer of one of the anticipated titles of the year, Tillu Square, starring Siddu Jonnalagadda, was released at Sri Ramulu theatre, Hyderabad on the account of Valentine’s Day Wednesday and as expected it promises double the fun.
Roughly three minutes and 40 seconds in length, the trailer opens with Tillu (Siddu) spelling out reasons why he doesn’t want a marriage match for him to his relatives, before cutting into a steamy and lengthy kiss scene involving him and Anupama Parameswaran in a car. It’s obvious that Tillu (after what happened in the previous film) has been swept off his feet again by a character played by Anupama. And he understands where he is heading in the relationship. In what is a hilarious self dig, he says, “Poinasari kante ee sari gattiga thagiletattu undhi naaku debba (I’m poised to take a greater blow than last time around). More screen time is allocated to the romance between Tillu and Anupama. And lo and behold, just like last time around, he gets into a massive problem because of his love interest. As the trailer culminates, he says he is a Karanajanmudu, one who is destined at birth to fulfill a certain promise. His purpose in this life is to entangle himself in all the worries of women.
Overall, the trailer promises a madcap comedy with bigger stakes as Tillu, in his eccentric and endearing avatar, romances, seduces and argues in his trademark fashion. Additionally, this time around he also seems to brave enemies for the cause of his love. His chemistry with Anupama, who seems to have gone for an image makeover with the project, is sizzling while the soundtrack seems to boast off some peppy party numbers.
Directed by Naruda Donaruda fame Mallik Ram and produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, Tillu Square storms into cinemas on March 29th.
