Top-drawer filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas and Global star Ram Charan on Friday extended their congratulations to the 69th National Award winners from Telugu.
Showering lavish praise on Allu Arjun with whom he worked on three films– Julayi, S/o Satyamurthy and Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo– Trivikram said he was “not surprised to see the remarkable achievement of Allu Arjun”. “He has rightfully clinched the National Award and marked his place as the first Telugu actor to attain this honor in the category. Having had the privilege to observe his diligent efforts in fully embodying his roles, it's evident that his dedication and passion are unparalleled. Here's to a future adorned with even more awards that recognize his exceptional commitment to his craft,” the wizard of words said in a statement.
On MM Keeravani bagging the honour, he said, “A legendary composer like MM Keeravani who has been defining Commercial Cinema songs from years has won Oscar and National Award in the same year for a monumental film like RRR. Congratulations sir.”
Speaking about RRR winning in six categories, Trivikram said, “My heartfelt wishes to each and every technician who worked on a gigantic big screen experience like RRR. Congratulations Kaala Bhairava, Srinivas Mohan, Prem Rakshit, King Solomon for the National Award. Especially, I thank SS Rajamouli garu for bringing such immaculate glory to our Telugu Cinema on Global and National stages.”
Congratulating other Telugu winners, he further said, “My best wishes to Buchi Babu Sana and Panja Vaisshnav Tej for winning National Award with their debut film, Uppena. Also, my wishes to the lyricist I dearly admire and respect the most Shri. Chandrabose garu for winning National Award for Kondapolam movie. My brother and energetic composer Devi Sri Prasad winning National Award is a great heartening moment for me, I wish for him to soar many more heights.”
Ram Charan, who is busy shooting for Game Changer, in a statement, said it was a moment of pride as we celebrate the winners of the 69th National Film Awards. He went on to congratulate his RRR team for the six awards they won, saying it was “a clean sweep by my near and dear”.
He also congratulated his brother Panja Vaisshnav Tej and “my next director Buchi Babu Sana for the success of Uppena”. “Double cheers for team Pushpa, my brother Allu Arjun and DSP,” he added.
He also extended his congratulations to his co-star in RRR, Alia, for winning the Best Actor (female) award for Gangubhai Kathiawadi.
