Last seen in Krishnamma, where his act as Bhadra received praise from all corners, Vizag lad Satyadev will be seen playing an important supporting role in Vijay Deverakonda’s next (#VD12) with Jersey director Gowtam Tinnanuri. While the nature of his role is shrouded in secrecy, it is believed to be a pivotal one which changes the course of the narrative.

Meanwhile, the film is progressing in Colombo, Sri Lanka right now. The shoot has been going on in the island country since July 9th and it will go on until the month end, witnessing close to 90 percent of the filming being wrapped up. Before Sri Lanka, the film was extensively shot in Visakhapatnam.

Touted to be a slick spy drama with Vijay Deverakonda playing a cop, the film marks Gowtam reuniting with Sithara Entertainments chief Naga Vamsi after Jersey. In between, he also directed a low-budget teenage musical drama, Magic, for the same production house. #VD12 co-stars the current sensation Bhagyashri Borse and TV fame Navya Swami, while Anirudh Ravichander is the tunesmith.
