Before he moves on to Puri Jagannadh’s ambitious action-drama JGM, actor Vijay Deverakonda will first be wrapping up his venture with good friend Shiva Nirvana, whose canon includes super hits like Ninnu Kori and Majili. A production venture of Mythri Movie Makers, the film, co-starring Samantha, will have the cameras rolling in the fourth week of this month with a 27-day schedule in Kashmir.

According to a source, the film is a laugh riot. “Shiva Nirvana has come up with a contemporary plot out of which fun generates, so does the romance. Overall, the film is an entertainer with a dash of family emotions as well. The extensive schedule in Kashmir will be followed by turns in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Kerala, calling it curtains down for the shoot. Right now, Shiva’s team is scouting locations in Kashmir, with other pre-production works too going on in full swing,” the source confirms.

The source adds that Nirvana has roped in a battery of noted actors for supporting roles. “The film is set on a large canvas and so, requires a bevy of artists. Lakshmi, Sachin Khedekar, Jayaram, Saranya, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore and Rahul Ramakrishna are some of the key supporting players who are on board as of now,” the source concludes.

Shiva will be working with composer Anirudh Ravichander for the as-yet-untitled project.
