Launched last month in Hyderabad, the filming of lyricist-turned-director Krishna Chaitanya’s next with Vishwak Sen will kick off its principal photography from May 8th. “Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad will be hosting the first schedule which will go on until the end of this month. Vishwak, however, will be joining the unit on May 15th. A massive set in the city outskirts is also being put up by the makers for some portions. The second schedule of 20 days will be held in Rajahmundry next month. The unit is looking to complete the film by October-end,” said a source.

Set in the backdrop of Godavari belt, the untitled movie, a Sithara Entertainments production, is a political drama with a generous dose of humour and narrates the rags to riches journey of a common man (to be played by Vishwak).

“Vishwak will be seen in a completely new avatar for the film. It’s a challenging role and he has begun the prep to get the Godavari dialect right,” added the source.

Anjali and Neha Shetty are playing the female leads in the film, while Yuvan Shankar Raja is on board to compose the music.
