On Dasara the anticipated teaser of megastar Chiranjeevi-spearheaded Vishwambhara was unveiled and it promises blockbuster entertainment with never before imagery for a Telugu film.

The 1.32-minute teaser opens in a surreal landscape where an evil force rises (played by Kunal Kapoor), creating mayhem and spreading darkness. But people there are certain that a light will emerge and take on the evil forces head on, culminating in a great war. When a kid of this world wants to know what a great war is, enters our megastar on a flying horse, looking fiercely determined to complete the mission that he embarked upon. He later takes on the evil force’s men, killing them one by one. The teaser concludes with the megastar neutralizing more threats this time around on earth and against the backdrop of a lord Hanuman statue.

Overall, with stunning images, dramatic action sequences and intense character portrayals, the short clip is a clear proof that director Vassistha and the megastar are cooking something special. It looks to offer a gripping narrative that combines fantasy with cinematic grandeur. The mix of grimness and splendor adds to the appeal of what seems to be a crackerjack premise. The background score is rousing and adds edginess to the teaser. While very little is given to talk about the performances, Chiru and Kunal make a solid impression with their screen presence and intensity.

Produced by UV Creations and also featuring Trisha, Ashika Ranganath, Isha Chawla, Surbhi, Aashrita, Tanikella Bharani and Harsh Vardhan, the film is out of Sankranti race. Sources say that the unit is looking to release it on May 9th-- the day on which Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari released in 1990.
