Shloka Entertainments, which distributed megastar Chiranjeevi-starrer Waltair Veerayya in the US, has conducted 25 fan shows of the film in 25 North US cities like Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Minneapolis, Austin, Houston and Dallas etc on the same time yesterday as a part of Mega celebrations. The surprising part of the event was the megastar connecting with the fans live via Zoom in the cinema halls in some of the cities.
As soon as the megastar surfaced on the big screen, the attendance in majority of the screens couldn’t contain their enthusiasm levels, immediately taking out their mobile phones and capturing the event while cheering on in unison. Chiru spent some time interacting with the fans. In one of his interactions, the actor, overwhelmed with the love he received from his Telugu fans from the West, said, “Our relationship should continue like this. I should stay connected with America and you (fans) should help the cause. I will work hard to entertain you.”
Waltair Veerayya, also featuring Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Bobby Simha and Prakash Raj, has breached the $2.25 million mark in the USA and is still going strong.
He also satirically said that websites gave 2.25 as rating, but they actually predicted the million dollars Waltair Veerayya was going to collect.
