Manchu Manoj is officially back. Last seen in a cameo appearance in Operation 2019, where he played a cop, he is headlining What The Fish, which has been in development for over six months. The tagline for the movie, directed by debutant Varun Korukonda, is Manam Manam Barampuram.

As Manoj rang in his 40th birthday on Saturday, the makers dropped the first glimpse of the film. Playing out for a minute-nearly, the glimpse opens with a visual of an office before Manoj screams, “I'm a bad child… I'm coming for you… Find a place to hide... I'm a bad child… The war has begun… Find a place to run. It is dotted with words like Atomic Craze, Raw, Grit, Swagge and Guns Blazing as Manoj, in varied get-ups, dances, kicks and circles. It ends with him repeatedly saying, “I’m gonna kill you” in a rhythmical tone. The background score by Shakthikanth Karthick adds to the wackiness of the glimpse. Overall, it is one hatke glimpse and promises to tread a never-before concept in Telugu.

Produced by Vishal Bezawada and Surya Bezawada, the film will be shot in Toronto and in other places of Canada for 75 days.
