Mukti Arts completed organizing the first Telugu Only LIVE Musical Concert in Austin at Hutto Performance Hall in Austin, Texas. For the first time the Austin Telugu audience experienced a complete Telugu only concert and ended up making it a huge hit.
Anup Rubens, Rubenica included 8 singers, Geetha Madhuri, Revanth, Dhanunjay, Anjana Soumya, Ranina Reddy, Ramya Behara, Prudhvi Chandra, Roll Rida and an orchestra of 7 Musicians. The performers cast also included the Jabardast team, Sudheer, Chanti, Raghava and Venky.
The concert was anchored by Smt. Rajeswari Udayagiri and she introduced the organizer Rajesh Chilukuri of Mukti Arts to welcome the audience. Mr. Rajesh Chilukuri thanked the audience who supported the first of the kind event in Austin and promised a lot of shows/concerts in the future.
The progam started with "Gananayaka" song sung by Medha and Samarth Anantuni. Immediately after, the Jabardast team started to entertain the audience with their skits and jokes. Once Anup Rubens took stage, it was nonstop foot tapping, high energy performances. The entire audience were constantly on their feet, cheering and immersing in the superb renditions of many popular songs. The highlight of the program was when 20 Austin kids trained by the team who gave their voice to the hit song “Kanipinchina Maa Ammake” song from Manam.
In addition, songs from several hit movies like Manam, Temper, Gopala Gopala, Gundejaari Gallataiinyindi, Jai were performed that got audiences to the stage and dance along with artists. The program ran for nearly 4 hours with 30 songs making audience wanting more and more. The event was supported by many local businesses, enthusiasts and supporters.
The event which was done very professionally was a huge hit with the audience and also the performers who were encouraged by the audience from the get go.
Mukti Arts would like to thank the local telugu cultural assocation, TCA of Austin. Also, a big thanks to NATS and People Media who have made this happen. Finally, a big thanks to the audience and performers for being active throughout the event and making it a grand success.
