Chicago, IL, May 18: Chicago Telugu Association (CTA) has announced new Executive Committee for year 2014-15 on May 18th at Bloomingdale Library, Bloomingdale, Illinois.

CTA Secretary Sridhar Mumgandi welcomed the guests and members and thanked them for taking time on a special Mother’s day to attend the event. Mr. Ravi Achanta founder of Chicago Telugu Association spoke with the group about the importance of associating ourselves to CTA showcased examples how CTA is doing prominent service programs to the community and creating impact to the Indian community in Greater Chicago and in India.

CTA President Mr. Srinivas Boppana has presented the key programs that were conducted in year 2013 and he appreciated the current executive members for their collaborative efforts in bringing more members, sponsors and innovative ideas and making 2013 a successful year.

CTA Co-founder Mr. Praveen Moturu thanked the current executive team for an outstanding year and initiatives done in 2013. He welcomed the new executive committee 2014 for CTA by announcing Mr. Murthy Koppaka as the President; Mr. Mahesh Kakarala as the Vice President for Corporate Sponsorships; Ramesh Maryala as the Vice President for Operations and Sridhar Mumgandi as the Vice President for Programs and Sujana Achanta as the Vice President for Cultural. He announced Mr. Madan Pamulapati as the Secretary and Subba Rao Putrevu as Joint Secretary and Vara Prasad Bodapati as the Treasurer and Laxmanji Kolli as the Joint Treasurer. He announced the Pavan Vallabhaneni, Harshavardhan Reddy Mungala, Arvind Aitha, Neela Emmanuel, Phalalochana Vankayalapati, Shailendra Gummadi, and Niranjan Vallabhaneni as the CTA Program Directors for the year 2014 -15.

He expressed his immense pleasure in announcing CTA Mahila team directors for the year 2014-15 Rani Vege, Lohitha Tunuguntla,Rama Koppaka,Bindu Balineni,Laxmi Bojja,Kalyani Koganti,Roja Chengalsetty,Karishma Pilla,Havelah Devarapalli,Bhavani Karampudi,Sandhya Ambati, Sailaja Pulavarthi.

CTA Board of directors Rao Achanta, Praveen Moturu, Srinivas Chundu, Praveen Bhumana, Vijay Venigalla, Dr.Paul Deverapalli, Phani Ramineni and Ashok Pagadala congratulated executive committee.

Mr Murthy Koppaka thanked CTA for giving him the opportunity to serve the Telugu community and hoped to do many services and cultural programs and bring more Telugu families to the organization.

CTA Mahila team celebrated Mother’s day by cutting the cake and shared with the members.

Chicago Telugu Association & North America Telugu Society Announces Telugu Festival 2014
Chicago, IL, May 18: Chicago Telugu Association (CTA) and North America Telugu Society (NATS) have announced Telugu Festival for year 2014 on May 18th at Bloomingdale, Illinois, USA.

CTA Secretary Sridhar Mumgandi welcomed the guests and members and thanked them for taking time to attend Telugu Festival kickoff event. There are about 150 people gathered for the event and Mr. Ravi Achanta founder of Chicago Telugu Association spoke with the group about the importance of associating ourselves to CTA & NATS and showcased examples how these two organizations are doing prominent service programs to the community and creating impact to the Indian community in United States and in India. Mr. Srinivas Boppana, CTA President, Mr. Murthy Koppaka President Elect (CTA) and Mr. Nagendra Vege – NATS Chicago Coordinator announced the CTA-NATS 2014 Telugu Festival on June 29, 2014 at Copernicus Center, Chicago featuring ETV's Swarabhishekam Program by Legendary Padmabhushan S.P.Balasubramanyam. He unveiled the program flyer and invited all the members and families and friends to the event.

Mr. Ravi Achanta mentioned that this year CTA & NATS are collaborating Telugu Festival with People Media Tech and ETV. With this collaboration they are expecting the program will be a grand success and full show with 2000 people.

During the Telugu Festival kick off CTA & NATS Mahila team celebrated Mother’s day by cutting the cake and shared it with the members.

చికాగో తెలుగు అసోషియేషన్ (సీటీఏ) కొత్త కార్యవర్గాన్ని ప్రకటించింది. సీటీఏ 2014-15 కాలానికి కొత్త కార్య నిర్వహక కమిటీలో చాలామందికి అవకాశం కల్పించింది. ఇలినాయిస్ లోని బ్లూమింగ్డేల్ లైబ్రరీలో సమావేశమైన సీటీఏ టీం సభ్యులు తమ కొత్త కార్యవర్గంపై కసరత్తు పూర్తి చేశారు..సీటీఏ వ్యవస్థాపకులు రవి అచంట చికాగోలో తెలుగువారి కోసం సీటీఏ ఎలా పనిచేస్తుంది..? తెలుగువాళ్లంతా కలసి ఉండాల్సిన అవశ్యకతల గురించి వివరించారు. సీటీఐ సేవా కార్యక్రమాలను ఎక్కడెక్కడ ఎలా చేపడుతుందనేది సవివరంగా తెలిపారు. సీటీఏకు తెలుగువారి నుంచే కాకుండా గ్రేటర్ చికాగోలో ఉండే భారతీయుల నుంచి మంచి స్పందన వస్తుందని రవి అచంట చెప్పుకొచ్చారు. 2013లో సీటీఏ చేపట్టిన కీలకమైన కార్యక్రమాల గురించి సీటీఏ ప్రెసిడెంట్ శ్రీనివాస్ బొప్పన్న వివరించారు. సీటీఏ సభ్యులు, స్పాన్సర్స్ నుంచి వచ్చిన సరికొత్త ఆలోచనలతో 2013లో ఎన్నో కార్యక్రమాలను సీటీఏ చేపట్టడం.. వాటిని దిగ్విజయంగా నిర్వహించడం జరిగిందన్నారు. సీటీఏ సహా వ్యవస్థాపకులు ప్రవీణ్ మోటూరు కొత్తగా ఎన్నికైన కార్య నిర్వహక కమిటీకి ప్రత్యేక అభినందనలు తెలిపారు.

సీటీఏ 2014-15 కార్యనిర్వహక కమిటీ ఇదే..
మూర్తి కొప్పాకను సీటీఏ కార్యనిర్వహక అధ్యక్ష పదవి వరించింది.. ఆయనతో పాటు మరో నలుగురికి ఉపాధ్యక్షులుగా సీటీఏ బాధ్యతలు అప్పగించింది.. మహేష్ కాకర్ల, రమేష్ మర్యాల,శ్రీధర్ ముమ్మనగండి, సుజనా అచంట లు ఉపాధ్యక్ష పదవుల్లో కొనసాగనున్నారు. కార్పొరేట్ స్పాన్సర్ షిప్స్ వ్యవహారాలను మహేష్ కాకర్ల, కార్యనిర్వహణ వ్యవహారాలు రమేష్ మర్యాల, కార్యక్రమాల ఏర్పాటు శ్రీధర్ ముమ్మనగండి, సాంస్కృతిక‌ కార్యక్రమాలు సుజనా అచంటకు అప్పగించారు. మదన్ పాములపాటి కార్యదర్శిగా కొనసాగనున్నారు. ఆయనతో పాటు సంయుక్త కార్యదర్శిగా సుబ్బారావు పుట్రేవు, కోశాధికారిగా వరప్రసాద్ బోడపాటి, సంయుక్త కోశాధికారిగా లక్ష్మణ్ జీ కొల్లి కి బాధ్యతలను భుజానికెత్తుకున్నారు.

ఇక సీటీఏలో 2014-15 ప్రోగ్రామ్ డైరక్టర్ పదవులు పవన్ వల్లభనేని, హర్షవర్ధన్ రెడ్డి మునగాల, అరవింద్ ఐతా, నీలా ఇమ్మాన్యూయల్, ఫలాలోచన వంకాయల పాటి, శైలేంద్ర గుమ్మడి, నిరంజన్ వల్లభనేని లను వరించాయి. ఇక సీటీఏ మహిళా డైరక్టర్ పదవుల్లో రాణి వేగే, లోహిత తూనుగుంట్ల, రమ కొప్పాక, బిందు బాలినేని, లక్ష్మి బొజ్జ, కల్యాణి కోగంటి, రోజా చెంగలశెట్టి, కరిష్మా పిల్ల, హవిల్లా దేవరపల్లి, భవానీ కారంపూడి, సంధ్య అంబటి, శైలజా పులవర్తి లు కొనసాగనున్నారు.

సీటీఏ బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ డైరక్టర్స్... రావు అచంట, ప్రవీణ్ మోటూరు, శ్రీనివాస్ చుండు, ప్రవీణ్ భూమన, విజయ్ వెనిగళ్ల, డాక్టర్ పాల్ దేవరపల్లి, ఫణి రామినేని, అశోక్ పగడాల కొత్త కార్యవర్గాన్ని అభినందించారు.సీటీఏ ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా తనకు అవకాశమిచ్చినందుకు ఎంతో సంతోషంగా ఉందని.. తనపై బాధ్యతలను సమర్థంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు శాయశక్తులా ప్రయత్నిస్తానని మూర్తి కొప్పాక అన్నారు. తెలుగు కమ్యూనిటీకి ఉపయుక్తమైన అనేక కార్యక్రమాలు రూపొందించడానికి అందరి సహకారం తీసుకుని ముందుకెళతానని తెలిపారు.

***సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో తెలుగు ఉత్సవం2014 *జూన్ 29న తెలుగు ఉత్సవానికి భారీ ఏర్పాట్లు..***

చికాగోలో తెలుగువారిని ఒక్కటి చేయడంలో ముందున్న చికాగో తెలుగు సంఘం సీటీఏ,ఉత్తర అమెరికా తెలుగు సంఘం నాట్స్ మరోసారి సంయుక్తంగా తెలుగు ఉత్సవానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టాయి. తెలుగు ఉత్సవం 2014 పేరుతో చికాగోలోని కొపర్నికస్ సెంటర్ లో ఈ తెలుగు ఉత్సవం జరగనుంది. గాన గంధర్వుడు బాల సుబ్రమణ్యంతో పాటు ఎంతోమంది గాన కోకిల ల పాటల ప్రవాహంతో సాగే స్వరాభిషేకం ఈ ఉత్సవానికి ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా మారనుంది. సీటీఏ, నాట్స్, ఈటీవీ, పీపుల్ మీడియా టెక్ సంయుక్తంగా నిర్వహించిన ఈ తెలుగు ఉత్సవానికి భారీ ఏర్పాట్లు జరుగుతున్నాయి. దాదాపు రెండు వేల మంది పైగా తెలుగువారు ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొంటారని సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ అంచనా వేస్తున్నాయి. దానికి తగ్గట్టుగా కావాల్సిన ఏర్పాట్లను ముందుగానే ప్లాన్ చేస్తున్నాయి. చికాగోలో తెలుగు కుటుంబాలన్నీ ఈ అరుదైన అవకాశాన్ని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకునేందుకు తెలుగు ఉత్సవానికి తరలిరావాలని సీటీఏ వ్యవస్థాపకులు రవి అచంట పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

తెలుగు ఉత్సవాన్ని విజయవంతం చేద్దాం..
తెలుగు ఉత్సవాన్ని అంగరంగ వైభవంగా నిర్వహించడానికి ఇలినాయిస్ లో సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ సంయుక్తంగా సమావేశమయ్యాయి. తెలుగుఫెస్టివల్ కు కిక్ ఆఫ్ ఈవెంట్ గా జరిగిన ఈ సమావేశంలో సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ కలిసి చేపడుతున్న కార్యక్రమాలను సీటీఏ వ్యవస్థాపకులు రవి అచంట వివరించారు. దాదాపు 150 మంది సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ ప్రతినిధులు ఈ సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. సీటీఏ ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టిన మూర్తి కొప్పాక కు అందరూ అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. ఈ కిక్ ఆఫ్ ఈవెంట్ లో సీటీఏ కార్యదర్శి శ్రీధర్ ముమ్మనగండి, నాట్స్ చికాగో కో ఆర్డినేటర్ నాగేంద్ర వేగే తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు. తెలుగు ఉత్సవాన్ని ఎలా దిగ్విజయంగా నిర్వహించాలనేది చర్చించారు. దానికి సంబంధించిన కార్యచరణను రూపొందించారు.
