Chicago Telugu Association (CTA) and North America Telugu Society (NATS) successfully conducted packing of meals for malnourished poor children at Feed My Starving Children at Aurora, IL. The CTA and NATS team helped in packing about 59,122 meals which could serve hundreds of kids in underserved communities around the world. The event was coordinated and lead by NATS Directors Ravi Achanta and Praveen Moturu and CTA President Nagendra Vege. About 90 volunteers participated in this event. Speaking on the occasion of Ravi Achanta and Praveen Moturu noted the importance of introducing the culture of giving in the young minds and encouraging them to be part of community service in USA and how a small thing can make a big impact on lives of needy people. Mr. Nagendra Vege said this event has always been very satisfying for all CTA and NATS Volunteers in Chicago. He further said this is one of top charity event conducted by CTA and NATS volunteers with immense satisfaction, which has huge impact on the lives of

kids all around the world and widely appreciated by Feed My Starving Children organization.

More than 90 volunteers from CTA/NATS has worked tirelessly to make this event a successful. CTA and NATS Team members Srinivas Chundu, Prasad Talluru, Ram Gopal Devarapalli, Sailendra Sunkara, Vamsi Manne, Uma Devarapalli, Madhavi Tippisetty, Rani Vege, Madhavi Achanta, Ajay Reddy, Srinivas Talasila, Seshu Uppalapati, Kousalya Gutta, Rajashekar Kandula, Nandu, Ravi Ramamuni, Srinivas Achanta, Nagabhushnam Bhimsetty, Venkat Tokkala, Anil Moparthi, Ramesh Kolukuluri, Ramesh Tippisetty, and others actively worked in making this event a successful.

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit organization committed to feeding children hungry in body and spirit. Volunteer’s hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children, and we send them to partners around the world where they're used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty.

FMSC thanked CTA and NATS volunteers for their generosity to help poor children across world. Certificates of appreciation were provided to all participants.

ఫీడ్ మై స్టార్వింగ్ చిల్డ్రెన్ కోసం 60వేల ఆహారం ప్యాక్ చేసిన చికాగో తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్, నాట్స్

చికాగో, అమెరికా, సెప్టెంబర్ 17, 2017: పేద పిల్లల కోసం తయారుచేసిన ఆహార పదార్థాలను ప్యాక్ చేయడం కోసం చికాగో తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్, నాట్స్ వాలంటీర్లు తమవంతు సాయం అందించారు. అరోరాలోని ఫీడ్ మై స్టార్వింగ్ చిల్డ్రన్ సంస్థ(FMSC) కోసం సుమారు 59,122 ఆహార పొట్లాలు కట్టారు. సరైన తిండి దొరకక బాధపడుతున్న ప్రపంచంలోని వేలాది మంది పేద పిల్లలకు ఈ ఆహారం చేరుతుంది. నాట్స్ డైరెక్టర్స్ రవి ఆచంట, ప్రవీణ్ మోటూరు, సీటీఏ అధ్యక్షుడు నాగేంద్ర వేగె సారథ్యంలో జరిగిన ప్యాకింగ్ కార్యక్రమం విజయవంతమైంది. మొత్తం 90 మంది స్వచ్ఛందంగా ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా రవి ఆచంట, ప్రవీణ్ మోటూరు మాట్లాడుతూ... యువతకు దానం చేసే సంస్కృతిని నేర్పడంతో పాటు సమాజ సేవలో భాగస్వాములను చేయడంలో ప్రోత్సాహం అందించాలని అన్నారు. అవసరాల్లో ఉన్న వారికి అందించే చిన్న సాయం ఎంతటి మేలు చేకూరుస్తుందో, ఎలాంటి ప్రభావం చూపిస్తుందో యువతకు తెలియజేయాల్సిన బాధ్యత ఉందన్నారు. సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ వాలంటీర్లకు ఈ ఈవెంట్ ఎల్లప్పుడూ సంతృప్తిని ఇస్తుందని... సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ చేపడుతున్న సేవా కార్యక్రమాల్లో ఎనలేని సంతృప్తిని ఇచ్చే వాటిలో ఇది కూడా ఒకటని నాగేంద్ర వేగె అన్నారు. సహాయ సహకారాలు అందించిన సీటీఏ, నాట్స్‌కు ఫీడ్ మై స్టార్వింగ్ చిల్డ్రన్ సంస్థ అభినందనలు తెలిపింది.

90 మంది వాలంటీర్లు ఎంతో కష్టపడి కార్యక్రమాన్ని విజయవంతం చేశారని కొనియాడింది. సీటీఏ, నాట్స్‌కు చెందిన సభ్యులు శ్రీనివాస్ చుండూ, ప్రసాద్ తాళ్లూరు, రాంగోపాల్ దేవరపల్లి, శైలేంద్ర సుంకర, వంశీ మన్నె, ఉమా దేవరపల్లి, మాధవి తిప్పిశెట్టి, రాణి వేగె, మాధవి ఆచంట, అజయ్ రెడ్డి, శ్రీనివాస్ తలశిల, శేషు ఉప్పలపాటి, కౌసల్య గుత్తా, రాజశేఖర్ కందుల, నందు, రవి రామముని, శ్రీనివాస్ ఆచంట, నాగభూషణం భీంశెట్టి, వెంకట్ తొక్కల, అనిల్ మోపర్తి, రమేష్ కొలుకులూరి, రమేష్ తిప్పిశెట్టి తదితరులు ఈ ఈవెంట్ కోసం చాలా శ్రమించారు.

ఫీడ్ మై స్టార్వింగ్ చిల్డ్రన్ అనేది ఒక లాభాపేక్ష లేని స్వచ్ఛంద సేవా సంస్థ. ఈ ఆర్గనైజేషన్ ఆకలితో అలమటించే వారి కోసం ఆహారాన్ని అందిస్తూ, మానసికంగానూ బలం చేకూర్చేలా సేవా కార్యక్రమాలు చేపడుతోంది. పౌష్టికాహారం అందని పిల్లల కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా ఆహారాన్ని తయారుచేస్తుంది. వీటిని ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్నటువంటి అనాథ శరణాలయాలు, స్కూళ్లు, ఆస్పత్రులు, పేదరికంలో ఉన్న వారికి తోడ్పాటునందించే సంస్థలకు చేరవేస్తుంది.

పేద పిల్లల ఆకలి తీర్చేందుకు తమవంతు సాయం అందించి, దాతృత్వాన్ని చాటుకున్న సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ వాలంటీర్లను FMSC ప్రత్యేకంగా అభినందించడంతో పాటు ప్రశంసా పత్రాలు కూడా అందజేసింది.
