Chicago Telugu Association and NATS Members successfully conducted packing of meals for malnourished poor children as part of the million packs program at Feed My Starving Children at Aurora, IL. The CTA and NATS team contributed to pack about 260,000 meals which could serve 716 kids for complete year. Speaking on this occasion CTA President Nagendra Vege and Mr. Ravi Achanta NATS Sambaralu Conference Chairman outlined the importance of Telugu Community involving in mainstream charity activities in USA. He further said this is one of top charity event conducted by CTA and NATS volunteers with immense satisfaction, which has huge impact on the lives of kids all around the world and widely appreciated by Feed My Starving Children organization.

More than 150 volunteers from CTA/NATS has worked tirelessly to make this event a successful. CTA Executive Members Mr. Madan Pamulapati, Subba Rao Putruvu, Praveen Moturu, Srinivas Chundu, Pandu Chengalasetty, Venkat Thota, Krishna Nunna, Prasad Talluru, Murali Kalagara, CTA Women Team led by Bindu Balineni, Rani Vege, Geetha Kagati, Sujana Achanta, Purnima Moturu, Kavitha Achanta,Kalyani Koganti, Roja Seelamsetty, Padmaja Avirneni, Anu Konakanchi, Annapoorna Talluru, Madhavi Achanta, Sireesha Gurram, and Kousalya Gutta participated and coordinated the event. Special thanks to our board members Murthy Koppaka, Mahesh Kakarala, Srinivas Boppana, for arranging food for the volunteers.

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit organization committed to feeding children hungry in body and spirit. Volunteer’s hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children, and we send them to partners around the world where they're used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty.

FMSC thanked CTA and its volunteers for their generosity to help poor children across world.

Other members who volunteered at this includes RK Balineni, Venkat Damuluri, Murali Koganti, Ravi Satya Gavirneni, Pavan Tipparaju, Ravi Chigurupati, Ramgopal Devarapalli, Suresh, Pramod and Vamsi Manne.

All participants were appreciated with service certificates by Chicago Telugu Association. Food for participants was provided by IDA Solutions and Vensar Technologies.

పేద పిల్లలకు పౌష్టికాహరం అందించే సత్కార్యంలో సీటీఏ, నాట్స్
ఫీడ్ మై స్టార్వింగ్ (FMSC)కోసం 2లక్షల 60వేల మీల్స్ ప్యాకెట్లు

చికాగో: ఫిబ్రవరి 20: సేవే గమ్యమని నినదించే ఉత్తర అమెరికా తెలుగు సంఘం నాట్స్ ఆకలితో అలమటించే పిల్లల ఆహరం అందించడం మహత్కార్యంగా భావించి ఆ దిశగా అడుగులు వేస్తోంది. ఈ క్రమంలోనే చికాగోలోని తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్. సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ కలిసి.. పేదల కోసం ఆహార సేకరణ కార్యక్రమాన్ని చేపట్టాయి. ఇలినోయిస్ లోని అరోరా సిటీలో ఉన్నటువంటి "ఫీడ్ మై స్టార్వింగ్ చిల్డ్రన్ (FMSC)" సంస్థ కోసం చేపట్టిన ఈ సత్కార్యానికి స్థానిక తెలుగువారి నుంచి చక్కటి సహకారం లభించింది. పౌష్టికాహార లోపంతో బాధపడే పేద పిల్లల కోసం 2లక్షల 60వేల మీల్స్ ప్యాకెట్లు రెడీ చేశారు. మొత్తం 716 మంది పిల్లలకు ఏడాది మొత్తం సరిపోయే విధంగా మీల్స్ ప్యాక్ చేశారు. సీ.టీ.ఏ. ప్రెసిడెంట్ నాగేంద్ర వేగె, నాట్స్ సంబరాల కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ఛైర్మన్ రవి అచంట.. అమెరికాలో నాట్స్, సీటీఏ కలిసి చేపడుతున్న సేవా కార్యక్రమాలను వివరించారు. పేద పిల్లల జీవితాలపై ప్రభావం చూపే ఇలాంటి కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొనడంలో వాలంటీర్లు హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. తాము కొందరి జీవితాల్లో మార్పుకు కారణమవుతున్నందుకు సంతోషంగా ఉందన్నారు.

చికాగో తెలుగు సంఘం, నాట్స్ నుంచి దాదాపు 150 మంది వాలంటీర్లు ఈ సత్యార్యంలో తమ సేవలు అందించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో సీటీఏ కార్యనిర్వహాక సభ్యులు మదన్ పాములపాటి, సుబ్బారావు పుట్రేవు, ప్రవీణ్ మోటూరు, శ్రీనివాస్ చుండు, పండు చెంగలశెట్టి, వెంకట్ తోట, కృష్ణ నున్న, ప్రసాద్ తాళ్లూరు, మురళీ కలగర, సీటీఎ మహిళా విభాగం అధ్యక్షురాలు బిందుబాలినేనితో పాటు రాణి వేగె, గీతా కగటి, సుజనా అచంట, పూర్ణిమ మోటూరు, కవిత అచంట, కల్యాణి కోగంటి, రోజా శీలంశెట్టి, పద్మజ అవిర్నేని, అను కొనకంచి, అన్నపూర్ణ తాళ్లూరు, మాధవి అచంట, శిరిష గుర్రం, కౌలస్య గుత్తా తదితరులు ఈ కార్యక్రమం విజయవంతం కావడానికి కృషి చేశారు. మూర్తి కొప్పాక, మహేష్ కాకర్ల, శ్రీనివాస బొప్పన లు వాలంటీర్లకు ఆహారం అందించినందుకు ప్రత్యేక థన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు.

ఫీడ్ మై స్ట్రావింగ్ చిల్డ్రన్(FMSC) అనే స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థ పౌష్టికాహర లోపంతో బాధపడే పిల్లలకు సరైన పౌష్టికాహరాన్ని దాతల నుంచి సేకరించి అనాధలకు, పేద పిల్లలకు అందిస్తుందని అందుకే తాము ఈ సంస్థకు తాము ప్యాక్ చేసిన ఆహారాన్ని అందించడం జరిగిందని సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ తెలిపాయి. సీటీఏ, నాట్స్ వాలంటీర్లకు పేద పిల్లల తరపున ఫీడ్ మై స్ట్రావింగ్ చిల్డ్రన్ సంస్థ ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపింది. ఆర్.కె. బాలినేని, వెంకట్ దాములూరి, మురళీ కోగంటి, రవి సత్య గవిర్నేని, పవన్ తిప్పరాజు, రవి చిగురుపాటి, రామ్ గోపాల్ దేవరపల్లి, సురేష్, ప్రమోద్, వంశీ మన్నె తదితరులు కూడా ఈ సేవా కార్యక్రమంలో పాలుపంచుకున్నారు. ఈ సత్యార్యంలో భాగస్వాములైన వాలంటీర్లకు చికాగో తెలుగు అసోషియేషన్ సర్టిఫికెట్లు పంపిణి చేసింది. ఐడీఏ సొలుష్యన్స్, వెన్ సర్ టెక్నాలజీస్ ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న వారికి ఆహారాన్ని అందించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని దిగ్విజయం చేసిన వారికి సీటీఏ ప్రెసిడెంట్ నాగేంద్ర వేగె, నాట్స్ సంబరాల కమిటీ ఛైర్మన్ రవి అచంట ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు.
