Foodbit App was launched on June 5th by Telugu film director Harish Shankar of Gabbar Singh fame in bay area amidst a cheering crowd of more than 400 Indian families and kids. Despite his busy shooting schedule in USA for his upcoming film "Subramanyam for Sale", Harish Shankar came all the way to bay area to encourage the spirit of Foodbit team to support the Indian Community. Key highlight of the launch event was the screening of commercial ads directed by Kalyan Palla, exclusively for Foodbit. The launch party was accentuated by live performances of popular bay area singers Nithya Bayya, Deepti Venkat and Padmini Saripella.
Foodbit founders Kash Maddipatla, Reddy Ganta and Sai Kesapragada were excited to bring you Foodbit – a mobile app that will allow the San Francisco Bay Area users to conveniently order take-out food from their favorite Indian restaurants. The founders shared their vision of creating an eco-system around Foodbit that everyone will be able to utilize and also iterated their passion for helping the Indian community through charity campaigns like “Feed while you Eat”.
