“TATA Grand Launch -- Telangana NRIs Victory”
Edison, NJ: TATA with their motto “Telugu kalala thota – Telangana sevala kota” had a grand launch on April 5th 2015 in the presence of over 3,000 Telangana NRIs from all over the United States.
Such tremendous response to the formation of a new national Telangana association represents a victory to Telangana NRIs and Telugus who expressed their love and affection by attending the Grand Launch event, said Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy, a great philanthropic leader who promotes TATA.
Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy expressed his gratitude and owed to continue his donations for the welfare of Telangana. He announced Rs.40 lakhs to adopt and develop a lake in his native village for Mission Kakatiya, another Rs.10 lakhs from Sudhakar Vidiyala who hails from Warangal, and additionally TATA's contribution of Rs.10 lakhs; grand total of Rs. 60 lakhs towards the Mission Kakatiya. This is the biggest donation by any Telugu association for the Telangana project.
TATA is launched by a grand inaugural ceremony attended by Telangana M.P. Mrs. Kavitha along with M.L.A. Mr. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and many prominent Telugus who travelled all the way from India and several states within USA.
The cheerful crowd was jubilant with the presence of both Mrs. Kavitha and Mr. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who contributed to the great Telangana movement.
Shiva Reddy, Goreti Venkanna, Vandemataram Srinivas, Mimicry Ramesh, Revanth, Lipsika, Anudeep, Adarshini, Hanishka, Anchor Anasuya, Anchor Ravi have enthralled the audience with their performances.
The chief guest Mrs. Kavitha congratulated Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy and the team for starting a national Telangana association; she expressed whole hearted support to the new organization and asked every Telangana person to work unitedly towards the vision of “Bangaru Telangana”. Despite several hurdles, she had graciously come forward to inaugurate TATA and made this as a historic event with an unprecedented launching.
M.L.A. and former minister Mr. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy welcomed the formation of TATA and expressed his full support. Mr. Komatreddy who travelled from India at a very short notice said the work has started now after achieving the Telangana state and called upon the Telangana NRIs to contribute towards the development of Telangana.
TATA organizers worked tirelessly with the help of many volunteers in taking good care of the guests, audience, participants and performers.
It was a total Telangana festive atmosphere at the Royal Alberts Palace, which resounded heavily with the presence of over 3000 people proclaiming “Jai Telangana”. Telangana culture was showcased with folk songs, children’s performances and the total thematic event.
This is a record for any Telugu organization with traffic jams, echoing the sentiment, Telangana love and affection per many participants.
"We are happy that the event ended on an exultant and triumphant note. The number of attendees exceeded our expectations", said Dr Pailla Malla Reddy.
Dr. Malla Reddy said that TATA is designed uniquely to represent all people of Telangana origin and Telugu families. The main motto of TATA is reflected by its slogan “Telugu kalala thota – Telangana sevala kota” and it aims to contribute towards the development of “Bangaru Telangana” as envisioned by the Telangana state founders and our beloved Chief Minister KCR.
Founder Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy has congratulated and thanked the core committee members Mahender Musuku, Srinivas Anugu, Dr. Samba Reddy, Dr. Mohan Patalolla, Balwanth Reddy, Ramesh Chandra, Santhosh Pathuri, Bharath Madadi, Vikram Jangam, Goutham Goli and Anil Arrabelli for their hard work in successfully conducting this historic event with an unprecedented launching within such a short period of time. This certainly shows their amazing talent and dedication towards community service, especially to Telangana motherland.
TATA team thanked the artists, participants, and media, especially TV5, TV9, T News, V6, Yupp TV for their live telecast, and all those news portals who worked behind the scenes with anexceptional coverage for the past one month.
Media team played key role in reaching out to all participants and youth who represents the face of Telangana and the future of TATA in leading this into 21st century.
In a special note Dr. Reddy extended his heartfelt thanks to all Telugu community leaders. Many Telugu community leaders from all associations have graced the occasion. TATA thanked them all for such nice gesture, including Narender G Reddy, Dr. Haranath Policherla, Suresh Reddy, Dr. Sreedhar Korsapati, Pratap Bheemreddy, Madhu Kolan, Jyothi Reddy and many others.
TATA is the dream child of Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy and all the core committee members were delighted that TATA was well received. Telugus made another history with TATA, which is poised to become the world's largest Telugu organization with maximum number of youth and highly educated NRIs.
Key Highlights of the program consist of mesmerizing and attention grabbing speech by Mrs.Kavitha and Mr. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
Anchor Anasuya and MC Mahender Musuku nicely coordinated the overall program.
All participants enjoyed a delicious food, including Hyderbadi Biryani.
A moment of silence was observed by all 3000 participants as a gesture of respect for those who sacrificed their lives for Telangana statehood agitation, said Dr. Samba Reddy; who narrated the mission and vision of TATA and its core objectives.
This success wouldn’t have been possible without the support of scores of volunteers, Ram Reddy Malladi, Damu Gedala, Dhanraj Seri, Baswaraju Tammaly, Bindu Madiraju, Ravinder Guduru, Vijay Vaidyula, Srinivas Reddy Pathuri, Bhasker Pinna, Prashanth Vemuganti, Prashanth Chintawar, Venkat Mukkamala, Guru Allampally, Baba, Madhu Anna, Sudhakar Uppala, Sidhu, Harish Bathini and many more who worked very hard day and night for the past few weeks.
Youth volunteer team led by Sindhu Yalala, Varun Vemuganti, Prerana Madiraju, Harshitha Yenugula, Nayan Malladi, Nidhi Pendem, Mani Yalala, Sai Bhargav Vuppala, Saketh Narahari and Gowthami Dommety played an active role at the reception and stage.
