Chicago Telugu Association (CTA) celebrated Mother’s Day on May 7th 2016 at Cascade Banquets, Chicago, USA. The women only event was attended by large number of telugu women in a fun-filled evening.

Evening started with brief introduction about CTA and its service oriented activities presented by executive member Mrs.Sujana Achanta. Mrs. Sunitha acted as MC for the event.
The goal of the event was to be informative, fun and various activites.

Highlights of the program include a presentations on floral arrangement by Mrs. Radhika and Polymer clay Jewelry making by Mrs. Sudha. Many ladies were excited to learn the process of making the floral arrangements and jewelry as well as noted down various tips and tricks suggested by the professionals.

CTA Mahila Team Members Mrs. Anu Kakarala, Mrs. Karishma Pilla, and Mrs. Laxmi Bojja conducted various games and all women participated with in great entertainment. Participants enthusiastically participated in dance programs for popular songs.

Local singer Ramya enthralled the audiences with both melody and mass songs and shopping stalls covering latest designer sarees and jewelry were setup at the venue.

Registration was effectively handled by CTA Mahila team members Mrs. Rama Koppaka, Mrs. Bhavani Boppana, and Mrs. Rani Vege.

Senior executive member Mrs. Rama Koppaka presented Vote of Thanks and expressed since thanks to volunteers, participants, supporters and donors.
