North American Telugu Association (NATA) has organized a free immigration seminar at Hilltop Indian Cuisine in Dallas, TX. Over 200 people attended this event from all over Dallas metro area.
Darga Nagireddy, NATA Regional Vice President started the event with a welcome note and introduced Ramasurya Reddy, NATA Coordinator, immigration attorneys Mr. Rahul Reddy and Ms. Rebecca Chen from REDDY & NEUMANN, P.C.
Ramasurya Reddy, Coordinator for 2016 NATA Convention, Dallas briefed various community service activities initiated by NATA in the past. Speaking about 2016 NATA Convention Memorial Day weekend, he requested everyone to participate and volunteer in various committees to make the convention a grand success.
Rahul Reddy from REDDY & NEUMANN Law Firm along with Rebecca Chen gave a lengthy presentation on various Tax related topics on topics - Employment Based Immigration including H1B/PERM Overview, recent developments on STEM OPT extensions, recent changes on H4 EAD policy, and EAD for approved I-140 and family based immigration. The attorneys gave enormous information to all the attendees.
Q & A session followed and attendees asked several questions related to Immigration. At the end of two-hour session, participants interacted directly with speakers and received advice from attorneys during one-on-one consultations. Participants extremely impressed with the way both of them interacted and answered all questions very patiently.
This event is conducted by NATA Regional Vice President Darga Nagireddy with support and help from NATA president Dr. Mohan Mallam, President Elect Rajeshwar Gangasani Reddy, Exce. Vice President Dr.Raghava Reddy Ghosala, Secretary Girish Ramireddy, NATA 2016 Convention Convener Dr. Ramana Reddy Guduru, and Coordinator Ramasurya Reddy.
Several Dallas NATA players Jayachandra Reddy, Phalgun, Sudhakar Reddy, Jayasimha, Mallikarjun Murari, Madhu Mallu, Ravindra Arimanda, Chenna Reddy Korvi, Thirumal Reddy, Satish Seeram, Ramana Reddy Putluru, Sreenivasa Obulareddy, Satish Bommineni, Nagaraja Challa, Ravi Chandra Kona, Venkat Reddy, Uma Mahesh Parnapalli, Srinivasa Veerabhadra, Venkat Thandra, Prasad Choppa, Krishna Mohan Reddy, Srinadh Palavala, Venkat Kattamudi, Srini Kotapati, Raman Reddy Kirstapati, Nagireddy and volunteers also worked hard in making this event a big success.
Several community leaders like Suresh Manduva TANTEX past president, Srikanth Polavarapu TANA RVP, Venkat Valeti TANA, Suesh Kaku, Balki Chemakura, Basvi Ayyaluri, Srinivas Bavireddy, Viswanadh Kichili and others were part of the event.
Chenna Reddy Korvi, Ramesh Gadiraju, and Prabhakar Metta primarily coordinated event.
Later, NATA Dallas Team felicitated Attorneys Rahul Reddy and Rebecca Chen for sharing their time and experiences. Even though this event was planned and organized in less than a week time, still many people and several NATA supporters turned up and made this event a big success.
