NATA with the motto “Saamskruthika Vikasame NATA maata, Samaja sevaye NATA baata“ has been helping Telugus all over North America and to promote the spirit of health and fitness, organized the Tennis Tournament in Dallas on Jul 25th . NATA took care of every aspect of the tournament including free snacks, fruits, and beverages for participating teams.
This event took place in beautiful Wagon Wheel Tennis Center, Dallas with picnic kind of environment. 36 teams are divided into 4 groups. Teams had pierce competition in preliminary round where each team played with all other teams in their group. Top two teams from each group progressed to knockout stage. The four-quarter final knockout games heated up the competition and all teams fought hard to earn place in semifinals. Teams in semi finals and finals produced an intensive battle where all the teams played their hearts out. Winners of the finals among three categories are:
Doubles:
Winners - Shan and Sripathi
Runners - Kiran and Srinivas
Singles:
Winner - Keshav
Runners - Ajay Gangavalli and Venkat Talupula
Kids:
Winner - Suvan Cheemal
All the players were thankful to NATA organization and volunteers for providing them with the opportunity to play in the nicely coordinated tournament. They appreciated the flawless arrangements made including shelter, snacks, fruits and beverages.
Darga Nagireddy, Regional Vice President is extremely happy with the response and congratulated all the players for their dedication and playing the sport with right spirit. He also said, excellent planning and event coordinators expertise helped conduct the Tournaments in such a big way.
Ramasurya Reddy, Coordinator for 2016 NATA Convention, Dallas who also attended the event and expressed that this kind of sports events conducted by NATA in Dallas led to the continued success of the sport and also spread the sense of camaraderie amongst the Telugu community in Dallas. Speaking about 2016 NATA Convention Memorial Day weekend, he requested everyone to participate and volunteer in various committees to make the convention a grand success.
Jayachandra Reddy, International Vice President shared the details about NATA community projects in India and appealed to all Telugu speaking people to help and participate in those projects.

NATA Tennis Tournament was primarily coordinated by Prasad Choppa, Srini Kotapati, Subbareddy Kondu, Ravi Arimanda, Chenna Korvi, Uma Mahesh and Srinivasa Obulareddy.
The event was attended by NATA leaders Ramasurya, Jayachandra Reddy, Phalgun, Uma Kurri, Jayasimha, Mallikarjun Murari, Madhu Mallu and other community leaders such as TANTEX president Narasimha Reddy Urimindi, TANTEX president-Elect Subbu Jonnagadda, and TANTEX-Joint Secretary Chinna Satyam among others.
