North America Telugu Society (NATS) conducted a winter clothing drive in New Jersey to help the homeless senior citizens and orphan children.
NATS donated new winter clothing - jackets, sweaters, comforters, shirts, blankets, gloves etc on this occasion.
Over the last few years, nationwide NATS had been conducting various service initiatives on the occasion of Children's day. As part of that initiative and also since winter is round the corner, NATS New Jersey team donated these items to the Catholic Charities in Edison, New Jersey. NATS New Jersey team handed over these items to the management of Catholic Charities and this shelter home provides shelter to several homeless old citizens and orphan children. The management of CCDOM charities greatly appreciated NATS for this kind gesture. NATS assured them that they would be helping this homeless shelter going forward as well.
This clothing drive was coordinated by NATS Vice President Mohana Krishna Mannava. NATS Chairman Dr.Madhu Korrapati attended this event and distributed these items. NATS BOD Aruna Ganti and NATS New Jersey Team - Ramesh Nuthalapati, Srihari Mandadi, Vamsi Venigalla, Vasu Tupakula, Prasad Gurram, Chandrasekhar Konidela, Srinivas Venkat, Soma Kalagara, Ganesh Dhanekula, Sridhar Donepudi, Sudhir Potu etc attended this event and extended their help and support for this noble cause.
