NATS DC Metro Chapter’s Balalasambaralu a Grand success.

On Sunday, November 16 2014, with an exciting environment created by more than 200 children with packed auditorium with 1000 audience, at Eleanor Rosevelt High school, NATS officially celebrated Balala Sambaralu in Washington DC area. Ravi Achanta-President NATS, Mohana Krishna Mannava,-VicePresident NATS, Ranjit Chaganti-NATS NJ coordinator, other NATS leadership, Swami Chidatmanandji-Chinmaya Mission, Rao N Linga-Greater Washington Telugu Cultural Society, Asim Mishra-Chief of Staff at the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), Sekhar Narasimhan- Member of the President’s Advisory Commission for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders , Pavan Bejawada- commissioner for governor’s commission on south east Asia and current DC chapter committee members of NATS has graced and Lead the event in style. NATS Board and Executive leadership sent their wishes to the DC metro chapter team.

Many dignitaries and community leaders have graced the event to show their strong support for this children’s event, which was exclusively led by the youth. NATS DC Chapter recognized and honored community leaders Mrs. Krishanveni Vedula Sarma and Dr. G.V.V Rao for their selfless services to the children. Classical dances, singing, tollywood and Bollywood dances were showcased by the youth. Competitions were conducted in essay writing, painting and art work.

NATS Children’s day celebrations in Washington DC were overwhelmingly grand success. The DC team Lakshmi Linga, Jayashree Pedhibotla, Vanisobhan, Madhavi Doddi, Jyothi Basavaraju, sanjeevnaidu; Srini rampalli,Harika Pedhibotla,sandeeplinga,Radhika Guntur,kavitha yanigandla,Ashok Anmalsetty, Jyothi boppana, Desai Sidhabathula, Giri Reddy,Amar.modalavalasa,Subbarayudu Jakkampudi, Swathipenugonda, Annapurna Venuthurupalli, Prasad Yaniganlda, Mekhla Stanton, Padmini Nidumolu, and Nanda worked very hard to make this event a memorable one for the children, youth and adults and they thanked all the community for their support.

The energetic team promised to bring more creative projects and especially work for the next generation youth and strongly support NATS vision…”Be the premier service-oriented national Telugu organization in North America”. The event ended with scrumptious lunch provided by Minerva Restaurant and the day ended with a positive and energetic spirit.

Los Angeles Children’s Day Celebrations - Grand Success

IYANA with support of NATS organized children’s Day Celebrations on November 15th in Long Beach, California with support of NATS. As part of this event, bowling competitions and Arts & Crafts competitions conducted around different cities in Los Angeles area. These competitions conducted in three different age grounds i.e. 4-7 years, 8 to 11 years and 12 to 18 years.

Around 325 kids participated in the children’s day celebrations with passion and enthusiasm. 100 kids participated in bowling competitions and 50 kids participated in Arts & Crafts competitions. All the programs reflected the culture from different parts of the India.

Children’s day event got tremendous response from all over Los Angeles are individuals and dance schools. About 1000 people attended this event. All the participants reported at 12:00 PM to with enthusiasm and the program started on time 2:00 PM. Audience enjoyed 4 hours of non-stop entertainment from the participants. The program ended by 6:00 PM as scheduled.

Every program was so appealing with rich and colorful costumes wore by highly talented kids. Classical dances, Semi Classical dances, Bollywood dances, Tollywood dances, singing, and various other programs entertained the crowd for full 4 hours

Fashion show with over 50 kids whipped the audience into frenzy. The back ground music hit the spot keeping the audience feet stomping as one kid after another walked onto the stage. The fashion show concluded with all the participants walking onto the stage at once that looked like star gazing.

Prizes and trophies were awarded to Bowling, Arts & Crafts and Cultural show participants. NATS sponsored the trophies to all the participants. Dr. Veeraiah chundu garu and Kishore Kantamaneni garu distributed the trophies to the participants.

Lakshmi Chundu garu thanked all participants, volunteers for their time and dedication in making this event a great success and requested to continue the same support for oncoming NATS Sambaralu.

All the key volunteers who spent enormous amount of time and efforts including Srinivas Killada, Narendra Kavarthapu, Chaitanya Madala, Suresh Chilukuri, Neelima Pudinaga, Anitha Katragadda, Sowjanya Koneru, Kalpana Maddula, Praveena Kasanagottu, Sarath Uppalapati, Veerababu Ambati, Jamuna Prasad, Vijay Kasanagottu, Rajalaxmi Chilukuri, Himaja Ponnaganti, Sudha Kavarthapu, Usha Killada, Sumanth Vydana, Divya Chevuri, Naveen Bayi, Suresh Ayinampudi, Vamsi Garikapati.

 ***వాషింగ్టన్ డీసీలో ఘనంగా నాట్స్ బాలల సంబరాలు***

         వాషింగ్టన్ డీసీలో ఉత్తర అమెరికా తెలుగు సంఘం నాట్స్ బాలల సంబరాలు కన్నుల పండువగా జరిగాయి. ఇటీవలే ఏర్పడిన నాట్స్ డీసీ  ఛాప్టర్ తన తొలి ఈవెంట్ ను ఘనంగా నిర్వహించింది. దాదాపు 200 మంది చిన్నారులు, 1000 మంది అతిధులు ఈ వేడుకల్లో పాల్గొన్నారు. వాషింగ్టన్ డీసీలో  ఉండే తెలుగు యువతీ యువకులంతా  ఈ సంబరాలను విజయవంతం చేయడంతో కీలక పాత్ర పోషించారు. నాట్స్న్యూజెర్సీ టీం సభ్యులు మోహన కృష్ణ  మన్నవ, రంజిత్ చాగంటి, విష్ణు ఆలూరు తదితరులు ఈ సంబరాల నిర్వహణకు తమ వంతు సహకారం అందించారు. నాట్స్ వాషింగ్టన్ డీసీ ఛాప్టర్ సమన్వయకర్తలు లక్ష్మిలింగా, రావు లింగా లు తొలిసారిగా వాషింగ్టన్ లో నాట్స్ బాలల సంబరాలకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. స్థానిక తెలుగు యువతను ఇందులో  భాగస్వాములను చేసి సంబరాలను అంబరాన్నంటేలా నిర్వహించారు. చిన్నారులు ఆట పాటలతో సంబరాల్లో ఉత్సాహంగా పాల్గొన్నారు.

చిన్నయ మిషన్ నుంచి స్వామి చిదాత్మానంద, వైట్ హౌస్ నుంచి నేషనల్  కమ్యూనిటీ సర్వీసెస్ స్టాప్ కార్పొరేషన్ చీఫ్ అసిన్ మిశ్రా, ఆసియన్ అమెరికన్స్, పసిఫిక్ ఐస్ ల్యాండర్ ప్రాంతాలకు సంబంధించి  ప్రెసిడెంట్ అడ్వైజరీ కమిషన్ సభ్యుడైన శేఖర్ నరసింహాన్, పవన్ బెజవాడ కమిషనర్ ఫర్ గవర్నర్ కమిషన్ ఆన్ సౌత్ ఈస్ట్ ఆసియా , మేరీ ల్యాండ్ గవర్నర్ మార్టిన్ జేవో మల్ల్యే, రాష్ట్ర సహయ కార్యదర్శి నిషా దేశాయ్ బిశ్వాల్ లు ఈ సంబరాలకు ముఖ్య అతిథులుగా విచ్చేశారు.

నాట్స్ బాలల సంబరాలను వాషింగ్టన్ డీసీలో ఘనంగా నిర్వహించడంలో తమ వంతు పాత్ర పోషించిన ప్రతిఒక్కరికి సంబరాలకు విచ్చేసిన తెలుగువారికి నాట్స్ వాషింగ్టన్ డీసీ టీం ప్రత్యేక కృత‌జ్ఞ‌త‌లు తెలిపింది.

*** లాస్ ఏంజిల్స్ లో వైభవంగా నాట్స్ బాలల సంబరాలు ***

లాస్ ఏంజిల్స్ లో ఉత్తర అమెరికా తెలుగు సంఘం నాట్స్ అనేక కార్యక్రమాలతో తెలుగువారికి మరింతచేరువ అవుతోంది. ఈ క్రమంలోనే కాలిఫోర్నియాలో నాట్స్ బాలల సంబరాలను అంగరంగ వైభవంగా నిర్వహించింది. స్థానిక ఇయానా సంస్థతో కలిసి నాట్స్ నిర్వహించిన బాలల సంబరాలకు అద్భుతమైన స్పందిన లభించింది. లాస్ ఏంజిల్స్ ప్రాంతంలో దాదాపు  1000 మందికిపైగా తెలుగు ప్రజలు ఈ సంబరాల్లో పాల్గొన్నారు. 325 మంది చిన్నారులు ఈ బాలల సంబరాల్లో పాలు పంచుకున్నారు.  ఈ సంబరాల్లో బాలబాలికలను మూడు విభాగాలుగా విభజించి ఆర్ట్స్ అండ్ క్రాప్ట్స్ లో అనేక పోటీలు నిర్వహించారు. 100 మంది చిన్నారులు బౌలింగ్ లో, 50 మంది చిన్నారులు ఆర్ట్  అండ్ క్రాప్ట్స్ లో  తమ టాలెంట్ చూపెట్టారు. 
తెలుగు ఆట, పాట బాలల సంబరాల్లో కనువిందు చేశాయి. తెలుగు సంస్కృతీ , సంప్రదాయాలు భావితరాలకు అందించేలా నిర్వహించిన ఈ సంబరాల్లో బాలలు తెలుగు ఆట, పాటతో అందరినీ ఆకట్టుకున్నారు. వీటితో పాటు తెలుగు సినీ పాటలు, బాలీవుడ్ సాంగ్స్ కు బాలలు చేసిన డ్యాన్స్ సభికులను ఊర్రూతలూగించింది. 50 మంది చిన్నారులు నిర్వహించిన ఫ్యాషన్ షో.. ఈ బాలల సంబరాల్లో ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా మారింది. ఈ సంబరాల్లో పాలుపంచుకున్న ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి... నాట్స్ బాలల సంబరాల కోసం మేముసైతం అంటూ ముందుకొచ్చిన వాలంటీర్లకు శ్రీ లక్ష్మి చుండు కృత‌జ్ఞ‌త‌లు తెలిపారు. బౌలింగ్ అండ్ ఆర్ట్ అండ్ క్రాప్ట్స్ లో విజేతలకు ఈ సంబరాల వేదికపై నాట్స్ బహుమతులు అందించింది. లాస్ ఏంజిల్స్ లో నాట్స్ ఏ కార్యక్రమం చేపట్టిన దానిని విజయవంతం చేస్తున్న తెలుగువారందరికి లాస్ ఏంజిల్స్ నాట్స్ ఛాప్టర్ ప్రత్యేక ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపింది.
