Telugu Association of London TAL successfully celebrated TAL Sankranthi 2016 event on 16th Jan 2016 at Feltham, Greater London. More than 200 families joined the celebrations, who enjoyed the festivities. Bhogipallu, Bommala Koluvu, Rangoli competition and other cultural and entertainment programs were organised.

A culinary competition (preparing sweets/deserts) was also organised with an overwhelming participation. TAL trustees Mrs. Bharathi Kandukuri and Mrs. Nirmala Dhavala coordinated the event and thanked all participants for the enthusiasm and the skills displayed.

TAL chairman Mr. Satyendar Pagadala praised the children and adults who took part in Gobbemmala dances and cultural activities. TAL committee thanked representatives from erstwhile Andhra Sangham Mrs Saileela Bhaskar and Dr. Kasi Vishwanath who presided over the celebrations.

TAL Board of Trustees Satyendra Pagadala, Balaji Callur, Sridhar Medichetty, Mallesh Kota, Bharathi Kandukuri, Nirmala Dhavala, Sridhar Somisetty, Kiran Reddy and Vasu Kornepati thanked all event coordinators Sharmila Reddy, Bhagya gubbala, Bharathi Kandukuri, Nirmala Dhavala, Sangeetha Somisetty, Shilpa Bhiraju, Sridevi, Jyothi, Anuradha, Anitha, Lokamanya and other volunteers who were key to the success of the event.

TAL committee requested all Telugu people living in London and Britain to join the forthcoming TAL 11th Ugadi celebrations on April 9th. TAL Trustees informed the audience about various activities undertaken by TAL throughout the year and requested all Telugu families to join their children in TAL Cultural Centres (TCC) to promote Telugu language and culture in future generations.

తాల్ సంక్రంతి 2016 తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్ ఆఫ్ లండన్ (తాల్) సంక్రంతి వేడుకలు 16 జనవరిన Feltham Ex-servicemen's club, Greater London లో ఘనంగా జరిగాయి 200ల మందికి పైగా కుటంబాలు ఈ ఉత్లవాలలో పాల్గొన్నారు. భోగి పళ్ళు, బొమమల కొలువు, రంగోలి మరియు ఇత్ర సంసకృతిక క్రయకరమాలు ఈ వేడుకలలో చోట చేసుకున్నాయి వివిధ క్రయకరమాలతో కళకళలాడిన ఆవరణ లో, ముగుొల పోటీ మరియు వంటల పోటీలలో అధిక సంఖ్య లో పాల్గొనారు. తాల్ టరస్టీలు భారతి కందుకూరి మరియు నిరమల ధవళ ఈ పోటీలలో పాల్గొనావారంరరిీ ధనయవాదాలు తెలిపారు. గొబ్బెమమల నృతాయలు మరియు ముగుొలు వంటల పోటీలలో పాల్గొనా వారిని తాల్ ఛైరమన్ సత్యంరర పగడాల పరశంసించారు. ఈ క్రయకరమానికి విచేేసిన మునుపటి ఆంధ్రర సంఘం అధయకుులు సయి లీలా భాసకర్ మరియు Dr. క్శి విశవన్నథ్ లకు తాల్ కమిటీ కృత్ఙ్ఞత్లు తెలిపంది. తాల్ బోరుు అఫ్ టరస్టీస్ సత్యంరర పగడాల, బాలాజీ కల్లలర్, శ్రరధర్ మేడిచెటిీ, మల్లలష్ కోట, భారతి కందుకూరి, నిరమల ధవళ, శ్రరధర్ సోమిశెటిీ, కిరణ్ రెడిు, వాసు కోర్నాపాటి లు ఈ క్రయకరమానిా విజవవంత్ం చేసిన వాలంటీరస్ అయిన షరిమల రెడిు, భాగయ గుబ్ెల, సంగీత్ సోమిశెటిీ, శిలప భైరాజు, శ్రరదేవి, జ్యయతి, అనురాధ, అనిత్ మరియు వసిషీ లను అభినందించంది. లండన్ మరియు బ్రరటన్ లో నివసిసుునా తెలుగు వారంరరూ తెలుగు భాషను, మరియు తెలుగు సంసకృతిని భావి త్రాలకు అందించాలని, అందుకు దోహరపడేలా పలలలను తాల్ కలేర్ సంటర్ లలో జరుగుతునా తెలుగు మరియు శాస్టుీవ సంగీత్ం, శాస్టుీవ నృత్య త్రగతులలో చేరిపంచావలసిందిగా విజఞపు చేసింది. ఈ సంరరభంగా ఏపరల్ లో జరగనునా 11వ ఉగాది ఉత్సవాలకు అంరరినీ ఆహ్వవనించంది. తాల్ వయవసాపకులు, సలహ్వదారులు ఈ సంబ్రాలలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
