TAL Volleyball Tournament 2016, London On the occasion of 67th Republic Day of India

Telugu Association of London (TAL) has conducted the 4rd annual Volleyball Tournament in Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre, Brentford, London on 23rd January 2016 in celebrations of 67th Indian Republic Day - A salute to the Mother India.

Over 100 Telugu players from 12 teams have played more than 45 games in this Championship with lots of supporters. TAL organises annual Volleyball Tournament every January in celebrations of Indian Republic day as the first sporting event in the year for Telugu people in and around London.

TAL Vice Chairman Balaji Callur and trustees Nirmala Dhavala and Sridhar Somishetty have congratulated tournament winning team Reading Smashers, Runner-up team Acers Team and 2nd Runner-up team United Titans. Satyendra praised all the players for their sportsman spirit and commitment towards the sport.

TAL Vice-Chairman Balaji Callur has specially thanked organising committee Vasista, Sunil and Sudheer and volunteering team who did make this happen.

Balaji has also invited all Telugu families living in London and Britain to join the TAL Badminton Tournament planned to play in the February as well as TAL 11th Ugadi Celebrations in April.

TAL Trustees Sridhar Somishetty, Sridhar Medichetty, Mallesh Kota, Nirmala Dhavala, Bharathi Kandukuri, Srinivasarao Kornepati along with Advisors, Life members and a number of Telugu families were present during the tournament.
