TANA (Telugu Association of North America) has organized a free immigration seminar by Mrs. Sheela Murthy, Renowned Immigration Attorney at St. Lukes church in Philadelphia,PA. Over 200 people attended this event from all over Philadelphia metro area. The objective of the seminar was to provide the comprehensive and practical understanding of the Immigration to the community.
Ravi Potluri, TANA Joint Secretary started the event with a welcome note and introduced Satish Vemana TANA Executive Vice President and immigration attorneys Mrs. Sheela Murthy and Mr. Aron Finkelstein.
Mrs. Sheela Murthy, Founder & President of Murthy Law Firm along with Mr. Aron Finkelstein gave a lengthy presentation on various topics. Q & A session followed and attendees asked several questions related to Immigration, moderated by Ratna Mulpuri. Audience asked several questions starting from OPT Extension to Family based Immigration. The attorneys gave enormous information to all the attendees. In response to a question from the audience Aron of Murthy Law firm reiterated the firm's diversity and experience of their founder Mrs. Sheela Murthy and the credibility she brings to the table to serve the clients. At the end of two-hour session, participants interacted directly with speakers and received advice from attorneys during one-on-one consultations. Participants extremely impressed with the way both of them interacted and answered all questions very patiently.
TANA (Telugu Association of North America) comes forward to assist the students of North Western Polytechnic University (NPU) and Silicon Valley University (SVU) on the issue of deportation and visa cancellation of students from the both universities. TANA Executive Vice President Satish Vemana approached the Murthy law firm and TANA will assist the students by providing guidance and legal assistance with generous help of Murthy law firm. TANA leadership also sought the intervention of Indian Embassy and Indian Government and also planning to meet Indian Ambassador Mr. Arun Singh and the congress representatives.
Philly TANA Team felicitated attorneys Mrs. Sheela Murthy and Mr. Aron Finkelstein for sharing their time and experiences and Mr. Satish Vemana (TANA EVP) for attending the event.
