Mersal The most awaited movie of the season, the blockbuster 2017 Diwali release, Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Mersal’ USA rights is acquired by the leading distributor ATMUS Entertainment and US Tamil LLC.

Mersal is the new action thriller from Director Atlee of Raja Rani and Theri fame which shows three different shades of Tamil Cinema’s most happening star, Thalapathy Vijay as Jallikattu Thamizhan, Magician and Doctor. Acting alongside each of his avatars are Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menon. The music for this film is scored by top music director A.R. Rahman. Songs are already released and every song in the film is a super hit. It has created the right vibes for the film. Mersal is Vijay’s most ambitious and most expensive budget movie till date. Set at a whopping 135 crore rupees, Mersal is Vijay’s 61st movie and Sri Thenandal Studio Limited’s 100th production. It comes out in a time where the hero Vijay and music director AR Rahman are celebrating 25 years in movie industry. The expectations for the movie are soaring high after the notable audio release in Chennai’s Nehru Stadium which included a special performance by A.R.
