KGF stands for – “Kolar Gold Fields”
a land of Power and Gold, where fortune favors the brave.

KGF is an upcoming Indian film of primarily Kannada language and is being simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages. KGF is a complete period drama action film and is set in the late 70s and early 80s.

Hombale Films, one of India’s largest production/distribution companies producing & presenting this most prestigious project of Sandalwood or Karnataka Film Industry (KFI). As of today, KGF is ‘The Most Expensive Movie Ever Made in KFI’. It stars Rocking Star YASH and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles.

KGF Chapter 1 is the first part of two parts, Written and Directed by Prashanth Neel after the stupendous success of ‘Ugramm’. Music by Ravi Basrur. Cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda.
