Here
I am from the land of Porche`s, BMW´s and Mercedes to
name a few. I was one those lucky few who ´ve witnessed
the Shankardada MBBS hungama at Bochum in western part of
Germany. It was one of those rare ocassions in this part of
the world that many Indians got together. Ever since telugu
movies started to hit the screens here, never before have
we had this kinda response. It was on oct´27 evening
at 7:30pm in the heart of Bochum city. UNION KINOS, the place
where the movie was screened was abuzz over this movie. A
never before crowd of 125 turned up and the theater was packed
to capacity.
As the clock ticked 7:30 we were all set for the show. Gosh!!!
The theater erupted all of a sudden with people shouting and
whistling, the moment Chiru was shown on screen. Theater manager
warned us of high decibel levels and put up a notice that
it's forbidden. But how r we Indians without breaking the
rules???
We
pumped up the sound for all the songs. As for the movie, it
was a complete entertainer right from frame one till the subham
cards. It was Chiru´s show all the way. Be it his comedy
timing, dances, his portrayal of emotions and whateva. I can
say Chiru is one star who can create humor with his expressions
and dialogue delivery. He has this gift of wonderful expressive
eyes. In the scene where he interprets Sunita as`SUN´´ITA´
was hilarious and it evoked mind blowing response from the
crowd. And his BEWARSE walking when he first goes to the college
I bet would tickle anybody's funny bones. I would say it does
not get any BEWARSE than this. I wish that walk should´ve
been placed in movie in some more college scenes. The way
he says maaya to Paresh Rawal and kopam lo entha mudduvastunnavo
maaya!! had the whole theater in splits. Chiru did it in his
own style. Never was there any dull moment through out the
movie. Dances looked fresh after all those mundane lawrence
kinda steps. Background score jelled well with the movie and
keeps u intact.
Over
all we had one hell of a fun filled experience. More than
we hoped
For! Everybody were so happy to be part of this event. I thank
