Audio of R Narayana Murthy's latest film Amma Meda Ottu was released by D Rama Naidu at a function arranged in Film Chamber on the night of 12th July. All the lyricist and singers of this album were present at the occasion. All of them rendered songs from this album. Among the songs, Ne pothunna pelligi got terrific applause for the kind of satirical lyrics it had. Konda Krishnam Raju, Keeravani and Vandemataram were also present on this occasion. Maruthi Music bought the audio rights.

Hero and music director R Narayana Murthy said that this film has twin objectives in storyline. The sentimental part would take care of son - mothers (step and original) relationship with the issue of selling children. The other objective of the film is exposing land scams.
