Audio of EVV’s latest film Athili Sathibabu LKG with his son Allari Naresh was released at a function held in Club Jayabheri on the night of 21 March 2007. This function is graced by D Rama Naidu, Ravi Teja, Rajamouli, Vijay Kumar Reddy (regional censor board member), Ambika Krishna, Devi Vara Prasad, R Narayana Murthy, Lagadapati Sridhar, Sathi Rangayya (financier), Narasimha Rao (Raasi Movies), Muppalaneni Siva, C Murali (MLA), Kommuri Nageswara Rao (ZP Chairman), Maganti Babu and unit members of the film.

D Rama Naidu released the audiocassette and gave the first unit to SS Rajamouli. Censor board member Vijaya Kumar Reddy released the audio CD and gave the first unit to Devi Vara Prasad.

Speaking on the occasion guest Ravi Teja said, “Athili Sathibabu is the title of character I played in Vikramarkudu film. I am feeling happy that name of my character inspired the title of this film. I am sure that EVV will deliver another hit flick with this film.”

D Rama Naidu said, “I have done several successful films with EVV on our Suresh Productions banner. Title has become already popular. I wish the unit all the best.”

Director EVV said, “All the unit members are satisfied with the way this film has shaped up. I would like to thank Sravanthi Ravi Kishore first because when writer Varma approached him with the story, he felt that I could do justice to this film as director and opined that Naresh would be suitable hero. He asked Varma to narrate the story to me. Ravi Kishore was willing to produce the film. I also would like to thank Ravi Teja and Rajamouli for creating the Athili Sathibabu character in Vikramarkudu film. All aspects of this film are good. Athili Sathibabu will hit the marquee on 6 April.”

Speaking on the occasion, hero Allari Naresh said, “This is my fifth film in the direction of my father. People blamed my father for teaching the tricks of defaulting loans with Appula Appa Rao film. Now they are going to thank my father because he is going to tell us how to recover money from the defaulters with my character in Athili Sathibabu film.”
