Platinum disc function of sensational hit Happy Days was celebrated at Shilpa Kala Vedika on the night of 5 November. This function is graced by the top management of CBIT and lyricists and music directors.

Micky J Meyer and Murali organized a musical program to entertain guests.

BN Reddy (CBIT) said, “We stopped giving CBIT for film shootings long back. But when Sekhar Kammula requested us, we could not say know due to his image as a clean and socially responsible filmmaker. And he made us all proud by making Happy Days a blockbuster. We liked the music very well.”

Koti said, “I came here to speak about Micky J Meyer. He is a mind-blowing music director. A real composer. I have never any music director in Telugu doing a stage show by playing an instrument live. Great music directors like AR Rehman, Harris Jayaraj and Mani Sharma worked under me before becoming independent music directors. I am proud to say that Micky J Meyer is a better music director than them all. I would like to congratulate Sekhar Kammula for giving another great film.”

Singer Karthik said that Arere song (sung by him) is a memorable song in his life.

Music director Micky J Meyer said, “I would like to thank Sekhar Kammula. I learnt a lot from him. All actors did well. Vanamali gave us great lyrics.”

Lyricist Vanamali said, “I penned four songs in this film. Music director gave nice tunes and singer rendered the songs wonderfully. Director shot these songs in a breathless manner. I am very happy.”

Dil Raju said, “Abhinandana film was released when I came to Hyderabad. And I wrote those songs down to by heart the songs. Now I by hearted the Padametu pothunna song too in Happy Days. I am proud to be associated with great films like Bommarillu and Happy Days. We are going to make another film titled ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’”.

Sekhar Kammula said, “Today belongs to Micky J Meyer. His parents came here to see his son’s growth. We are similar in the aspect that both of us have no film background. Vanamali done a great job and I liked Arere song very much. I am happy to see a good result for our hard work.”
