The unit of King film arranged a press meet today evening at Annapurna studios. Here is the summery –

12.24 crores in one week – Chandan Reddy
Chandan Reddy – son of King producer D Siva Prasad Reddy – said, “King got amazing openings and garnered around 12.24 crores worldwide in one week. It is still going housefuls and creating records even after one week. In Nellore and Vijayawada, it is running in 5 and 6 theaters respectively. King is one of the biggest hits in the career of Nagarjuna. On this eve, I request the fans of Nagarjuna to take initiative in restricting the piracy of King film.”

Music director character is not modeled after Chakri – Seenu Vytla
Director Seenu Vytla said, “There has been amazing response for King film. It generated the biggest openings for Nagarjuna in his career. All the distributors and exhibitors are happy the way King is collecting at box office. The main reason why I summoned for a press meet is to make it clear that the music director character is not modeled after Chakri. I want to put an end to this speculation and rumors before it goes out of hand. I like Chakri a lot. He composed music for Dhee – a turning point in my career. He is not only a good music director, but also a greater human being. There is not even one percent negative shade in the character of Chakri. That character was developed by Gopi Mohan and it was meant for fun, but not to target any individual. I would like to make it sure to the media and Chakri that the music director in King film is not targeted at any music director in film industry. I am willing to do another film in the music direction of Chakri soon.”
