Krishna Vamsi - Prabhas combination film 'Chakram' was released on 25th of this month and started with heavy crowds. There has been negative talk and difference of opinions about this different film. To clarify certain issues and to tell the reasons for success, the team of Chakram arranged a press meet. Prabhas, Krishna Vamsi, Krishnam Raju, Chakri, Siva Raju and Venkat Raju attended this meet.

Chakram will inspire future Telugu films - Krishnam Raju
Krishnam Raju said he would not have accepted this subject if any director other than Krishna Vamsi were narrated to him. The confidence of Krishnavamsi and his ability to make any film with conviction made Krishnam Raju to believe in Chakram project. Krishnam Raju opined that Chakram is going to be inspiration for future ventures of Telugu film industry. He campared Chakram film with Black of Hindi in terms of substance. Though there is tragedy undercurrent, Krishnavamsi made sure that it is delivered in an entertaining way. This film would be liked by ladies a lot and the last half an hour of the film is emotionally appealing. He commended Prabhas that he carries a good personal attitude which would take him to higher levels in film industry. He also said that Prabhas has already exceeded Krishnam Raju in histrionics department.

I am indebted to Sirivennela - Chakri
Music director Chakri said that he is considering himself to be fortunate to have worked with a brilliant director like Krishna Vamsi. Though all songs are good, Chakri quoted 3 songs as his favorites - Oke Oka Mata, Jagamanta Kutumbam and Konchem Karanga in that order. He feels indebted to Sirivennela for giving such soulful lyrics for Jagamanta Kutumbam song. Chakri took 30 days to do rerecording of this film and he gave a controlled background score.

I will do different film again after 5 mass films - Prabhas
Prabhas said that he is grateful to Krishna Vamsi for Chakram film. He felt very comfortable while doing the film. He said that Chakram is the most passionate film made by Krishna Vamsi. He feels proud to have worked for Chakram. Prasad was hesitant to do eunuch episode in this film, but had to do it as Krishna Vamsi preferred. His favorite scene in the film is the one where he reveals the truth to Prakash Raj. Prabhas expressed willingness to Chakram kind of different film after a gap of 4-5 mass films. He also assured that he would make sure that there is one Prabhas film dished out after every 5-6 months.
