After two action films, director Gosangi Subba Rao has chosen
a love story in tune with the season hoping to taste success.
And he has every reason to do so. His earlier two movies,
Bhavani and Sivudu may not have set the box office aflame,
but his work in these two ventures was liked by the producer
MN Mohana Reddy, a successful businessman from Nizamabad.
Reddy felt that given a bigger budget Rao would definitely
go places.
Raja
Sridhar plays hero with Sonali Joshi and Lahiri as the heroine.
The later is making her debut. Subba Rao's ambitious venture,
Sai Chitra Production's Manamiddaram.
The
film is a triangular love story told from a fresh angle. Koti
came up with chart busting music. Prakash Raj plays a pivotal
role in the movie as the understanding father of the heroine.
Television artiste Pragathi plays the heroine's mother.
A
unique climax has been shot at a railway station. All the
principal characters (in the film), including the lead pair,
board the train without knowing that others too have boarded
the train. The audience know about it, but not the artistes.
In
true Hitchcockian style, the tension mounts among the viewers
whether the artistes will find each other or not and how things
are going to end. The film is due for release in August month
of 2002.
