Some characters are best explained when there is little that is said about them. Rathanna and his proud sons from Rayalaseema are cold blooded and ruthless barbarians with no business what-so-ever in Guntur. But again, an external force brings them to the land of “Maya Bazaar”.

Rathanna is played by Krishneswara Rao who won hearts and ample applaud with his performance as the beggar with an unfulfilled wish in Chandamama Kathalu. He took a 180 degree turn and canning a rugged role in Guntur Talkies. With his acting prowess, he lived the character.
