Poem
on Deepavali by Srinivas Kanchibhotla
The first light and sound show started a few billions years ago with a big bang, where blinding light escaped a packed space in an event that made the worlds. The dazzling display of lights hasn't stopped since. In the comets that streak across the sky with colorful tails, in the meteor showers that ruffle the atmosphere to throw out a spectrum of splendor, in the distant stars that twinkle in the sky like tiny flower pots, the spirit of the festival would continue till the end of eternity.
