Success Meet of Sekhar Kammula’s Godavari was held at Film Nagar Cultural Club in the afternoon of 13th June. Sumanth, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Kamal kamaraju, Sekhar Kammula, Anish Kuruvilla and GVG Raju attended this meet.

Director Sekhar Kammula said, “We are holding the success meet of Godavari in the fourth week after assessing that Godavari is a genuine hit with all buyers expressing their happiness. Godavari is the second biggest hit of summer after Pokiri. We had a tour in the second week of release to meet movie lovers in various areas like Kurnool, Nellore, Ongole, Kadapa, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tadepallygudem, Tanuku, Vizag, Gajuwaka and Rajahmundry. We got a feedback from industry people that Godavari is a classic. Godavari is going to run for 50 days in 35 to 40 centers. There had been many Hollywood films with talking dogs. But in Telugu, we did it for the first time. It was a kind of risk to have a talking dog in social film like this. These dog episodes are being enjoyed thoroughly by the crowds. We also have taken lot of care in dubbing aspect.”

Actor Sumanth said, “Godavari film is a big hit. We are planning to hold the 50 days function on a boat.”

Actress Kamalinee said, “All of us have put in real hard work and I am happy that people are receiving very well. I watched Godavari film with real audiences and enjoyed every minute of it.”
