Story
Karthik (Ram Pothineni) is an young entrepreneur in Lisbon. He returns to India as his factory faces problem due to an NGO’s complaint. He falls in love with Divya (Rakul Preet Singh) who is torn between the love her separated parents. Rest of the story is all about how Karthik makes Divya fall in love with him and how they solve family problems together.
Artists Performance

Actors: This movie is a cakewalk for Ram. His energy in dances and flights is evident. His comedy timing is perfect and did extremely well in emotional scene of climax. Rakul Preet Singh is glamorous in a central role. Sonal Chauhan is alright, but her characterization is highly artificial and pretentious. Among the comedians, Jaya Prakash Reddy is hilarious though he has a limited screen time. Brahmanandam is okay as weekend Venkat Rao. Vennela Kishore has got very good and lengthy comedy role after a gap and he entertains. This film boasts off big character artists like Rao Ramesh, Sai Kumar, Sampath Raj, Brahmaji, Pavitra Lokesh etc. Tejaswi has done an interesting role. MS Narayana is hilarious though his comedy involves double meaning dialogues. Pruthvi and Shakalaka Shankar are roped into do a spoof of SVSC towards climax.
Technical departments
Story - screenplay - direction: It’s a routine story. Instead of having a linear narration, the screenplay writer chose to reveal the basic plot with an interesting twist in interval. Though some of comedy scenes are good (JP in first half, Brahmanandam and Vijayawada bros in second half), most of the scenes are not fresh. Screenplay of the film is predictable. Director Gopichand Malineni has succeeded in getting emotional part right, but there were many films with similar plots and emotions in the past.
Other departments: Music by Thaman is in his style. It’s very sportive of him to allow the reference on himself - ‘Thaman laga dappulu kotti’ in ‘Ye Pilla Pilla’ song. Cinematography by Sameer Reddy is excellent. It’s vibrant. Dialogues written by Anil Ravipudi are nice. Though a few dialogues are in bad taste (MS Narayana referring to his daughter Tejaswi - ‘idi carrom board coin lantidi, evaru vesina padipoddi), they clicked well with audiences. Art direction by Prakash is good.

Analysis: Pandaga Chesko is a film with good interval twist and some laughs here and there. Plus points of the movie are performance by Ram and family orientation. But, story and scenes in the movie lack freshness. This movie has commercial entertainment and family emotions. Success of this movie depends on how family crowds embrace it!
