To All New Age Film Makers

BioScope...Film News...All filled with new movies being made...you will see bright eyes and pompous voices boasting about their movies being different.

This is an everyday scene for any movie lover and lot of new film makers are bee lined to make movies. As a movie buff I really appreciate their effort. But some how quality is missing in most of these new movies made by them.

Do we really need so many movies?

If you ask me....Telugu movie goers should say "Eee Kukkamooti Pindelu Makoddu Babu...Gangi Govu Paalu Garitedaina Chalu"

About a decade back if a film is made by a new film unit it is really meant something new for audience. Today nobody is really interested to see their promos also. That is the plight.

If we really look at the new genre of films there is nothing special about them. Only urge that is driving them is to get in to the stardom and get a share of piece of cake. If you really want to see the glitter it is better to see it from a distance instead of venturing into it without any experience. I really pity the producers who are pouring money in to these kind of movies who are really not seeing any ROI(Return On Investment). It is just the urge to see the stardom that is driving these bigots.

One guy just wants to become hero at the age of Forty and he can do it if he has got money. Other guy think just mixing the same old formulas can produce a great movie...the list continues...there is no good reason why they want to make a movie.

There is no intellectual spirit or knowledge in most of these new age film makers and their exposure to the film making is minimal.

The so called old age popular movie makers are also known for coming up with the same old stereotypes and still feel audience is looking for that only. They really think Telugu People can not accept any change that is drastic. I really pity the assumptions that are killing the Artistic Ideas.

As long as this continues we will see more than 90% failure movies at Box-Office and none of the concessions by any government can save the industry. This may give good employment to the movie artists but not in long-term.
