Why I like Godavari?

There are various reasons why I liked Godavari; some of them are

They have shown the river Godavari very nicely and beautifully with pleasant music. It is very peaceful movie with no fights, no vulgarity. I liked the inner line message that every one says politics are dirty and live with same dirty; but no one tires to clean up the dust. Talking dog and good songs(both lyrics and music). It shows very clearly how a fickle minded person (Raaji in the movie) takes decisions. Superb photography; I felt as if I am traveling in a boat in Godavari. I decided to visit Godavari and Papi Kondalu in my next trip to India.

Why are Sekhar Kammula’s films different from the rest of Telugu Films?

Sekhar gives more important to characters than the actors. Simple story line and great screen play and very clear dialogues. Sekhar makes sure that he gets good lyrics for all songs (Sahithya paranga, manchi paatalu) and of-course good music. Shekar takes audience to different world all together (Defiantly he took me different world for two and half hours)
